EQUINOX WOMEN’S TEA & LABYRINTH CEREMONY in Ossining, NY // Sunday, March 22nd, 1:30-4:30pm EST

$77.00

Each turn of the wheel, we gather in a ceremony to honor the cycles within nature and ourselves. By aligning our own rhythm with the pulse of life, we solidify the bond between Goddess and our unique inner wisdom.

Join us in ceremony for the Vernal Equinox on Sunday, March 22nd, from 1:30-4:30pm EST to awaken your senses and deepen your connection with Mother Earth. We'll cleanse and balance the mind, body and spirit through Tea Meditation and learn to create and walk the ancient pattern of the Labyrinth.

*This is a Women’s Only Event in Mariandale Retreat Center in Ossining, NY

In this Celebration we will:

  • Share a reverent, silent Tea & Meditation Ceremony to help us open up our senses fully to the magic of Spring. Weather permitting, we'll be outdoors! If not, we'll be in the cozy Chapel Space at Mariandale.

  • Learn to create and walk a beautiful seven circuit Labyrinth as an offering to the land. The Labyrinth is ancient shape that has been used for thousands of years to cleanse the energy bodies and balance out the right and left hemispheres of the brain, perfect for honoring both dark and light, within the swirling alchemy of the Equinox. Read more below:

About the Labyrinth

The sacred pattern of the Labyrinth has been used throughout history as a journey to the center of one’s self. Found in ancient civilizations around the world, the Labyrinth has the capacity to bring participants through the seven worlds of creation (or Chakras), releasing that which is no longer needed, and empowering each step with renewed clarity. As we come together to honor both the light and dark within the earth and ourselves, this embodied walking meditation will help to ground and focus your energy as we move towards the expansive energies of Beltane with clarity and grace.

Please bring your journal to write down any wisdom the Tea and Labyrinth offers you during your time here. It is best to arrive by 1:15pm to get settled.

If you'd really like to get into the spirit of this celebration, feel free to wear shades of Green to honor the Green Fires of Springtime. Bio-degradable offerings (flowers, herbs, seeds etc...) are also welcome.

RACHEL JESIEN - Priestess of Avalon, Yoga Therapist, Ceremonialist

Born a natural Seeress and Oracle, Rachel's work bridges the physical and spiritual realms to facilitate healing on all levels. Her Shamanic Priestess path spans over 15 years and has woven its spiral around the world many times, studying Shamanism in Australia, Peru, Ireland, and most recently she completed a three year Priestess of Avalon initiation within the Glastonbury Goddess Temple, rooted in the Celtic Isles, traditional land of her ancestors. Rachel believes that all suffering stems from our disconnection from our Earth Mother and Her natural rhythms, and by bringing ancient traditions alive in the modern world, we can find our way back to our true purpose as the Earth's guardians. Rachel provides spiritual mentoring to a global community through Shamanic Healing Sessions, New & Full Moon Ceremonies, Sacred Pilgrimage, and Priest/ess Trainings throughout the year at the River Valley Goddess Temple in Croton on Hudson, NY, traditional lands of the Kitchawanc people. She is also a medical intuitive and backcare & scoliosis yoga therapist who has been able to heal her severe scoliosis through a specialized home yoga therapy practice.
