A Refreshing Recipe for Beltane: MANGO LASSI

Mango Lassi is a traditional buttermilk drink of India, often made with a blend of spices, flavored with sweet or savory ingredients, and is consumed at least once a day! It is full of good bacteria that aids in proper gut health, and is rich in probiotics, calcium, and vitamin D, which altogether support a healthy immune system. Most of all it helps to prevent sun stroke in warmer climates by naturally cooling the body and calming it at the same time.

Mango is the ultimate fruit of summer! High in nutrition and low in calories, mangoes are great antioxidants, support digestive health, and also have a very pleasant flavor and sweet taste. There are a large variety of mangoes. You may even opt for using Alphonso mangoes for the following recipe, to achieve an even sweeter flavor profile!

Below is a refreshing recipe for Mango Lassi, provided by Sprial Initiate and Reiki Master, Archana Edmond.
